Their duties include upholding and maintaining the bylaws and policies of the association, being responsible for the administration of the association and the maintenance and administration of the Students' Association building, maintaining the daily operations of SARDC.

All of the Executives have offices (and office hours) in the second story of the SA building (above the Far Side Bar & Grill).

Students Association Council

A role on Students’ Association Council is a great way to become involved in student life at RDC, and a great way to meet new and interesting people. Help organize events, lobby for the rights of students, and make sure students are achieving the best possible experience.

SAC is the highest governing body of the SA; all major decisions are made by the Council. Council consists of 12 elected Councilors that represent the four different Academic Divisions of RDC, and the current Students’ Association Executive Council. Councilors are on SAC to represent the students and therefore have the responsibility to speak up and advocate on behalf of the student body.

Nominations for SAC open at the SARDC Annual General Meeting in The Forum every September. Elections are held in October of each year for Winter SAC. Opportunities are also available for students wishing to become part of Summer SAC. Call 403-342-3200 for more information

SAC meetings are open, so consider yourself invited!
