The Students’ Association tries to meet the needs of its students in a variety of ways from providing necessary services to being one the largest employers of students on campus through its businesses the Far Side Bar & Grill and The Lift. From light snacks to quick lunches, from a refreshing beverage to staples, the Far Side and The Lift are here for you.

The Far Side Bar & Grill

The Far Side Bar & Grill is there for you when you need a break, a bite to eat or just a place to relax. The Far Side opens early for breakfast and offers a lunch and supper menu. Bar service begins at 3 p.m. Monday to Thursday, with a noon start on Fridays. Pull up a chair, enjoy a meal or beverage, relax and enjoy a sports event on TV, meet your friends — it’s all possible at the Far Side. Watch for our pub nights and live entertainment throughout the year.

The Far Side offers a large facility which can easily be transformed to suit the mood of any function — Christmas parties, graduations, weddings, reunions — we’re only limited by your imagination. Our catering menu is extensive, with something to please everyone or our friendly, professional staff can help you create your own special menu …

The Lift

The Lift, the on campus convenience store, is more than just muffins, coffee, subs, and chips. It’s bus passes and maps, pain relievers, quick lunch ideas … and more.
