Legal Assistant Society

The Legal Assistant Society promotes unity and fellowship within the Legal Assistant students of RDC and provides further educational experiences including seminars, workshops, open meetings to students. It also liaises with the Red Deer and surrounding community to provide further education to promote good citizenship and lawfulness.

The society also represents its members at meetings of the Alberta Association of Legal Assistants and the Canadian Association of Legal Assistants, providing information and feedback for the support of the Program and RDC. It also provides promotional support at community functions including Law Days, Crime Prevention Week, Alcohol Awareness Week and for the Legal Assistant Program Career Days at high schools.
