The Students’ Association of Red Deer College plays an important role in your life at RDC. The SA advocates for and represents students, provides a myriad of important (and fun!) services and is one of the largest employers of students on campus!
The Students’ Association exists to serve the students of RDC. Some of our most popular services include:
CAT Fund - The Cultural Activities Trust Fund, better known as the CAT Fund, is a committee consisting of RDC students and facility. The purpose of this committee is to help fund cultural events on campus.
Used Bookstore - The Used Book Store accepts books for consignment for the current semester two to three weeks before the start of the semester.

The student sets the price and receives funds from the sale of books. Drop by the SA office for details or call 403-342-3200.
Student Food Bank - The SA offers and on-campus Food Bank to help students in need. Students seeking assistance should contact Student Funding and Awar
ds at 403-343-4027 for a referral to the Student Food Bank. Monetary and non-perishable food donations are accepted by the food bank. Call the SA at 403-342-3200 for information.
Health & Managed Dental Plans - The Student Benefits Plan was approved by student referendum, making it a requirement of full-time enrolment at RDC. Students with approved equivalent coverage may opt out of the plan by filing a waiver form by the specified date. Contact the Student Benefits Office at 403-356-4982 or
reddeerplan@mystudentplan.ca for details.
Copiers, Faxing, Lockers - Your Students’ Association wants to help you succeed. It provides photocopiers in the Library, microwaves in student gathering areas, lockers throughout the College, a faxing service in the SA office and more. Come up to the SA office and find out how we serve the students of RDC.
